The petitioner has filed the present writ petition seeking furlough for a period of three weeks.

Notice. Learned ASC for the State accepts notice. 3.

Status report has been filed by the State.

Perusal of nominal roll of the petitioner reveals that in column No.21 i.e. report of misconduct (if any) during interim bail/parole/furlough, it is mentioned that he jumped furlough w.e.f. 04.10.2011 to 19.06.2012 and rearrested on 20.06.2012 in another case FIR No.222/2012 under Section 25/54/59 of Arms Act, PS Krishna Nagar wherein he was acquitted. Further in column No.24 i.e. overall jail conduct, it is mentioned as unsatisfactory being punished on 14.07.2012.

In view the past conduct of the petitioner as reflected in the nominal W.P.(CRL) 1364/2016

roll, prayer of the petitioner for his release on furlough is rejected. 6.

The writ petition is dismissed.

Petitioner be informed through concerned Jail Superintendent about the orders passed.
