% 18.05.2016 The present is a petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India and Section 482 of the Cr.PC praying for a direction to the competent authority to release the petitioner on parole in order to enable him to take care of his family as well as to re-establish social ties with the family and with the society. The petitioner is aggrieved by the order dated 1st February, 2016 whereby his representation for grant of parole on the above-stated grounds was rejected by the competent authority for the following reasons:- "rejected in the absence of requisite police verification report regarding verification of address and grounds taken by convict from concerned police authorities i.e. SSP, Gautam Buddha Nagar, Noida, UP, SHO/PS Police Station- Sector 20, Noida Gautam Buddha Nagar, UP & DCP, Central Distt., Delhi, SHO/PS Nabi Karim, Central Distt, Delhi, which could not be obtained despite several requests.

Further, the convict has last availed 01 month parole w.e.f.20.04.2015 to 20.05.2015 by the order of DHC, 03 weeks furlough has already been granted by DG(P) but yet to be availed."

appearing on behalf of the State submits that subsequent to the challenge to the impugned order, the petitioner has already been released on furlough with effect from 05.02.2016 to 21.02.2016. In view of the foregoing, the present petition seeking parole cannot be granted at this stage.
