% 26.07.2018 Notice. Learned APP accepts notice for respondent no. 1. Learned APP submits that Mahavir, Raju @ Neelu, Sagar Singh and Geeta had also sustained injuries in the incident but they have not been made a party to this petition.

On the oral prayer made by the learned counsel for petitioner, these persons are impleaded as respondent nos. 3 to 6. Amended memo of parties be filed during the course of the day.

Respondent nos.2 to 6 are present in Court and accept notice. They have been identified by ASI Surender Singh of police station Anand Vihar.

Respondent nos.2 to 6 submit that they have settled the matter with the petitioners of their own free will and without any undue force, pressure or coercion, vide a Compromise Deed dated 25th April, 2014. They submit that they have no objection in case FIR No. 219/2014 under Sections 308/427/506/34 IPC registered at Police Station Anand Vihar and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed. Keeping in mind the settlement arrived at between the petitioners and respondent nos. 2 to 6 voluntarily, in my view, no fruitful purpose would be served to keep the criminal proceedings pending. Accordingly, in the interest of justice, aforesaid FIR and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.
