RC.REV. 245/2016 & C.M. No.16594/2016 (stay) After some arguments learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he is not pressing the present petition on merits. He however prays for expedition in trial as his apprehension is that the trial may get delayed in the Trial Court.
This Court has been informed that written statement has already been filed. Learned counsel for the petitioner on behalf of his client under instructions states that two witnesses will be led on his behalf. In this background, the Trial Court shall endeavour to expedite the trial and dispose the petition within an outer limit of 14 months
from the date of receipt of this order.
With these directions petition disposed of.
