CORAM:

HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE MANMOHAN

O R D E R

% 04.10.2016 The present contempt petition has been filed alleging wilful disobedience of the judgment and order dated 06th April, 2011 whereby verification of the list already forwarded by the SDM to DDA was directed to be conducted by the MCD and the Sales Tax Department. After verification by these two authorities, a fresh revised list was to be prepared and forwarded to the DDA. Learned counsel for the petitioners states that a revised list after verification by the North DMC and the Trade and Taxes Department has not been prepared till date.

Learned counsel for the respondent-GNCTD has drawn this Court's attention to the letter dated 30th April, 2015 issued by the GNCTD to the Director (CL), Commercial Land Branch, DDA. The

relevant portion of the said letter reads as under:- "It is hereby informed that this office is in receipt of list dated 31-10-2013 and dated 27-04-2015 in respect of 978 Paper Traders from North DMC and Trade & Taxes Department respectively. On the basis of the above said list a fresh revised list is being forwarded to you along with the copies of both above said lists of Trade & Taxes Department and North DMC.

You are therefore requested to kindly take further necessary action in this regard in view of this office fresh revised list as well as lists of Trade & Taxes Department and North DMC as per order of Hon'ble High Court of Delhi in above mentioned cases." Although learned counsel for the petitioners states that he has not received the list of 978 paper traders, yet this Court finds that in the connected matter being WP(C) 486/2012, the same is on record. Accordingly, the present contempt petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent-GNCTD to furnish the list of 978 paper traders to the petitioners within a period of two weeks. With the aforesaid direction, the present contempt petition stands closed.
