This is an application seeking permission to amend the memo of parties. In view of the cause submitted, the same is allowed and the amended memo of parties is taken on record. 2.

Issue notice. Notice is accepted by the learned APP as well as by respondent No.2 (Veerawali mother of Pooja Khan), who is present in Court.

Affidavits of the petitioner as well as of Pooja Khan, wife of the petitioner, are on record.

The petitioner has filed the present petition under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 for quashing of FIR No.95/2013, under Section 363 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 ('IPC'), registered at P.S.:Rajouri Garden, Delhi and the proceedings emanating therefrom.

The petitioner and his counsel as well as respondent No.2, Veerawali, submitted that the parties have settled their disputes on their own free will, without any force or coercion and orally submitted in the Court that she is having no objection to the petition being allowed and the FIR being quashed.

Pooja Khan, who is also present in Court, has reiterated the aforesaid facts and submitted that she is living happily with the petitioner.

The Investigating Officer ('IO'), who is present in Court, has identified the petitioner, respondent No.2 as well as Pooja Khan and has also verified the settlement arrived at between the parties. Learned APP, on instructions of the IO, submitted that the petitioner and Pooja Khan are living together and is having no objection if the petition is allowed.

In view of the aforesaid circumstances and the settlement arrived at between the parties, this Court is of the view that no fruitful purpose would be served in keeping the parties entangled in the criminal proceedings. Accordingly, in the interest of justice, FIR No.95/2013, under Section 363 of the
IPC, registered at P.S.:Rajouri Garden, Delhi and the proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.

Petition is disposed of in above terms.
