% 07.05.2018 It is submitted that petitioners and respondent no. 2 are relatives. A quarrel took place between them on some trivial issues resulting in simple injuries to complainant/ respondent no.2, which led to registration of FIR No.119/2018 under Sections 308/341/506/34 IPC at police station Shalimar Bagh on the complaint of respondent no. 2. With the interventions of their family members , petitioners and respondent no. 2 have settled their disputes amicably in terms of compromise deed dated 24th April, 2018; therefore, aforesaid FIR, which is at investigation stage, may be quashed. Respondent no. 2 is present in the Court and admits having settled the matter with petitioners of his own free will, voluntarily and without any undue force, pressure or coercion and he has no objection in case FIR is quashed against the petitioners.

Keeping in mind the settlement arrived at between the petitioners and

respondent no. 2 voluntarily, in my view, no fruitful purpose would be served to keep the criminal proceedings pending. Accordingly, in the interest of justice, FIR No.119/2018 under Sections 308/341/506/34 IPC at police station Shalimar Bagh is quashed.

Petition is disposed of in the above terms. Miscellaneous application is disposed of as infructuous. Dasti.
