The parties have amicably settled their disputes through mediation in terms of the settlement recorded in the settlement agreement dated 27th February, 2017 which is on record.

As per the settlement agreement dated 27th February, 2017, the appellant has deposited Rs.84,000/- with this Court on 10th February, 2010 in terms of order dated 12th January, 2010 and the said amount along with interest accrued thereon is to be released to the legal representatives of the deceased respondents, namely, Prakash Kaur (widow) and Simran Jeet Singh (son) in equal proportion.

The writ petition and the pending application are disposed of in terms of the settlement agreement dated 27th February, 2017. The Registrar General is directed to release the amount of Rs.84,000/- deposited by the petitioner along with interest accrued thereon to Smt.Prakash Kaur and Mr.Simran Jeet Singh in equal proportion within a period of four weeks. 4.

Copy of this order be given dasti to counsel for the parties under the signature of the Court Master.
