O R D E R

% 16.08.2018 The petitioner's - [East Delhi Municipal Corporation (EDMC)] grievance is with respect to the directions of the Central Administrative Tribunal (CAT) that the respondent would be termed as workman - who were regularised earlier in terms of an Award, and shall be paid differential salary for the period 01.04.2000 to 30.04.2007. Having considered the circumstances, whereby the respondent's services were engaged and he worked continuously; later directed to be regularised, pursuant to which he was granted back wages, the impugned directions of the learned CAT cannot be faulted with. Finding no merit in the writ petition, as the order of the learned CAT is reasonable and sound, the writ petition is accordingly dismissed. S. RAVINDRA BHAT, J A. K. CHAWLA, J AUGUST 16, 2018 pkb
