% 28.04.2016 Present writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to rectify the place of birth of the petitioner in his passport. It is the case of the petitioner that due to clerical error, the place of birth of the petitioner was mentioned as Barona, Haryana in the application for passport instead of Delhi.

A perusal of the paper book reveals that petitioner's application dated 13th April, 2016 at page 34 of the paper book has not been disposed of by the respondent no.2.

Consequently, the present writ petition and the application are disposed of within a direction to respondent no.2 to decide the petitioner's application dated 13th April, 2016 within a period of three weeks.
