O R D E R

% 19.07.2017 On 7th July, 2017, the following order was passed by this Court: "The petitioner has approached this Court under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of writ of mandamus directing the respondents to disclose if any Look Out Circular ( in short "LOC") has been issued against the petitioners who are holding Indian Passports bearing No.Z19099026, Z2034525, Z2037840 and Z2921711 respectively and a writ of certiorari directing the respondent to quash the LOC(s), if any, issued against the petitioners.

It is noticed that on 26th September, 2016 Mr.Kirtiman Singh, CGSC, on instructions stated that as on date there is no LOC pending against the petitioners and the petitioners have no reason to entertain any doubts in this regard as on date. Similar statement was made by Mr.R.S. Kundu, learned Additional Standing Counsel, on the last date of hearing i.e. 2nd May, 2017 on instructions from Ministry of Home Affairs

that there are no look-out notices existing on record of the said department against the petitioners as on date. Since there are no look-out notices against either of the petitioners, nothing survives in the petition. However, Mr.Kirtiman Singh, Central Government Standing Counsel, seeks short time to find out if as on date any look-out notice is issued against either of the petitioners or not." Even today Mr.Kirtiman Singh, learned Standing counsel for respondents No.2 to 5, on instructions submits that there are no lookout circular issued against the petitioners. As such the petition has become infructuous.

The petition stands disposed of.

Crl.M.A. 10546/2017 In view of the order passed above, the present application stands disposed of as infructuous.
