The petitioners, who are working on the post of ASI Ftr. and Head Constable Ftr. with the BSF, have filed the present petition for several reliefs including fixation of their seniority from the date from which their counter-parts Head Constable/Radio Mechanics were promoted to the rank of ASI/Radio Mechanics, on merger of Head Constable/Radio Mechanics with the post of ASI/Radio Mechanics and for directions to respondents to maintain a separate seniority list of ASI Ftr. as existed prior thereto. 2.
Learned counsel for the petitioners states that the petitioners had issued a Legal Notice dated 05.03.2018 to the respondents on the issues raised in the present petition, but they have not replied thereto so far. 3.
At the time of filing the present petition, the petitioner came to know that the respondents had recently issued a Signal dated 27.04.2018, referred W.P.(C) 5239/2018
to in ground (E) of the writ petition, which could not be made a part of the petitioners' Legal Notice. Learned counsel states that he may be permitted to submit a fresh representation to the respondents, taking therein all the pleas and raising the grievances that have been raised in the present petition including those related to the Signal No.C/2301 dated 27.04.2018. 4.
If the petitioners file a substantive representation within one week from today, the respondents shall consider the same and pass a speaking order thereon, under written intimation to them within four weeks from date of the receipt of the said representation.

If the grievance of the petitioner still survives, he shall be entitled to seek legal recourse, as may be advised.
