The petitioner has filed the present petition under Section 29A of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, inter alia, praying that the time for making the arbitral award be extended for a further period of six months from 03.05.2018. The learned counsel appearing for the respondent also joins the learned counsel for the petitioner in making the aforesaid request. The learned counsel for the parties state that the matter is at the last stage of recording of evidence and it is expected that the final arguments shall commence shortly.

In view of the above, the application is allowed and the time for
making the award is extended for a further period of six months from 03.05.2018 that is upto 02.11.2018.
