This public interest petition has been filed alleging unauthorized construction at H No.1015A, Ward No.7, Near Radhe Shyam Mandir, Mehrauli and seeking a mandamus to respondent No.1/South Delhi Municipal Corporation to take immediate steps to stop the alleged illegal and unauthorized construction.

Except a bald allegation in the petition that the construction is unauthorized, no other supporting material is placed on record. The petitioner states that he lodged a complaint with the respondent No.1 on 19.04.2016. It is ununderstandable as to why the petitioner has rushed to this Court within a week from filing the said complaint. 3.

Be that as it may, since Sh.Mukesh Gupta, the learned Standing Counsel for South Delhi Municipal Corporation who appeared on advance notice has submitted that appropriate action would be taken in accordance with law if any unauthorized constructions are found in the locality specified

in the petition, we do not think it necessary to entertain this petition. 4.

Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed.
