Despite passover none appears for the petitioner. 2.

Learned counsel for the respondent no.2 points out that vide order dated 20.02.2019, this Court had allowed his application under Section 17B of the Industrial Disputes Act, 1947 and had directed the petitioner to release the arrears of the respondent no.2 in terms of the said order within a period of eight weeks, but the petitioner has not made any payment till date.

At this stage, it is also noticed that the writ petition was dismissed in default on 20.11.2015, whereafter the same was restored on an application filed by the petitioner. In the light of the aforesaid facts, it appears that the petitioner is not interested in pursuing the writ petition. The same is, therefore, dismissed in default and for nonprosecution.
