% 30.08.2016 There are 18 petitioners before this Court. Petitioner no.18 is society. They are stated to be vending from different sites at Sewa Nagar, New Delhi falling under the jurisdiction of the SDMC. No documents have been placed on record to show that they are vending from the aforentoed site.
Learned counsel for the petitioner urges that under Section 3(3) of the Street Vendors (Protection of Livelihood and Regulation of Street Vending) Act, 2014 he is adequately protected. The respondent has disputed the submission.
Be that as it may, the grievance of the petitioners can only be addressed before the Town Vending Committee (TVC) as and when constituted of respondent no.1.
At this stage, counsel for respondent no.2/DDA submits that the land in question has been acquired by the DDA and the land now stands transferred to the J.J.Cluster Residential Clearance Madangir, Khanpur Scheme for allotment purpose.
No further orders are called for in this petition. Petition disposed of.
