% 30.08.2016 Petitioners before this Court are stated to be hawking in different area of the South Zone, MCD. Documents have not been placed on record.

Contention of the petitioners is that they are protected under Section 3(3) of the Street Vendors (Protection of Livelihood and Regulation of Street Vending) Act, 2014 and they cannot be removed

from the sites.

Learned counsel for the respondent submits that physical inspection was done on 21.6.2015 and none of the nine petitioners were found hawking at the aforenoted site.

Be that as it may, in view of the provisions of the Street Vendors (Protection of Livelihood and Regulation of Street Vending) Act, 2014 as noted supra, the grievance of the petitioners may be addressed before the Town Vending Committee (TVC) of the aforenoted respondent as and when the same is constituted. No further orders called for in this petition. Petition disposed of.
