% 29.02.2016 Learned counsel for the respondent-Union of India has produced before us the original file wherein it is recorded that the petitioner-Manoj Kumar has not intimated and informed authorities about his acquittal in the criminal case. In case the petitioner moves an application/representation, the same will be examined in accordance with law in consultation with the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) and DOP&T.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he would make a representation pointing out the factual position and enclose a copy of the judgment dated 9th July, 2015 acquitting him of the charges and also copy of
the appellate order dismissing the appeal.
In view of the statement made by the counsel for the petitioner, we dispose of the writ petition, but clarify that we have not expressed any opinion on merits.
