The grievance of the petitioners is to learned DRT not deciding OA No.736/1996 in spite of 20 years having lapsed. 2.

The Original Application is at the stage of final hearing. 3.

Petitioner No.1 has been detected with lymphoma and desires that the dispute be adjudicated during his life time so that he does not leave either a litigation or a debt to be satisfied by his legal heirs. 4.

The date fixed by learned DRT-I, Delhi for hearing final arguments is May 09, 2016.

The relief claimed is of a kind where notice need not be issued to the bank for the reason expeditious disposal of the Original Application would be to the benefit of the bank as well.

We dispose of the writ petition directing that on the next date fixed i.e. May 09, 2016 learned DRT-I, New Delhi shall commence hearing arguments in Original Application No.736/1996 and if for some reason arguments cannot be heard on said date, a short date not beyond a week shall be given and the Original Application No.736/1996 shall be decided latest by July 31, 2016.
