The petitioner has filed the present petition under Section 29A of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 (hereafter 'the Act'), inter alia, praying that the time for making the arbitral award be extended for a further period of six months from 03.05.2018. The learned counsel appearing for the respondent also joins the petitioner in making the aforesaid request. 4.

The learned counsel appearing for the parties state that the arbitral

proceedings are at the final stage and the Arbitral Tribunal has acted with due dispatch.

In view of the above, the present petition is allowed and the time for making the arbitral award is extended for a further period of six months from 03.05.2018; that is up to 02.11.2018.

The petition is disposed of.
