% 14.03.2018 CM 9940/2018 (for pre-ponement of proceedings) The respondents have appeared through counsel accompanied by the second respondent Abhishek son of Sh. Ganga Sharan and the sixth respondent Darshan Lal son of Manohar Lal. The parties had been earlier referred to mediation. They have settled the dispute by settlement agreement dated 20.02.2018 thereby seeking to bring to an end the litigation from which the present proceedings arise. The petitioner has handed over to the second respondent who has acknowledged the receipt of payment in the sum of Rs.3,50,000/- by demand draft no.005572 dated 14.03.2018 drawn on Axis Bank Ltd. as part payment in terms of the said settlement agreement. CM(M) 386/2016

In view of this development, the petitioner does not press the present petition for any further relief before this court which stands disposed of accordingly. The date 03.08.2018 earlier fixed shall stand cancelled.

The parties will be obliged to appear before the trial court for appropriate further proceedings to be recorded in the light of the settlement agreement.
