O R D E R

% 09.05.2018 Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that prosecutrix is a grown up woman of 22 years of age. She was in a relationship with petitioner for more than three years. After their relations broke off, prosecutrix has lodged this FIR. Petitioner may be granted anticipatory bail. Learned APP, who is assisted by the complainant's counsel, has opposed the grant of anticipatory bail to petitioner. It is contended that petitioner established physical relations with prosecutrix by extending promise to marry her. Even Nikah was conducted on 19th November, 2017. However, on the date of marriage itself, petitioner deserted her. Family

members of the petitioner threatened the prosecutrix not to file any complaint against them.

I have perused the FIR, wherein prosecutrix has stated that she became friend of petitioner about three years ago. They had physical relations for 21⁄2 years and every time petitioner promised to marry her. On 19th November, 2017 Nikah took place in a mosque in Seelampur. On the same night, petitioner deserted her.

Keeping in mind the totality of facts and circumstances of this case as detailed above, it is ordered that in case of arrest, petitioner be released on bail subject to his furnishing a personal bond in the sum of `10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand Only) with one surety of the like amount to the satisfaction of the Investigating Officer/Arresting Officer/SHO concerned. Bail application is disposed of in the above terms. Miscellaneous application is disposed of as infructuous.
