% 24.05.2018 Notice. Learned APP accepts notice on behalf of respondent no.1. Respondent no.2 is present in the court and accepts notice. It is submitted that petitioner and respondent no.2 have settled their disputes amicably in terms of Compromise Deed dated 2nd April, 2018, therefore, FIR No. 270/2014 under Sections 324/34 IPC registered at police station Preet Vihar may be quashed. Respondent no.2 (complainant) has been identified by SI R S Pandit of police station Preet Vihar. He submits that he has settled the matter with the petitioner of his own free will and without any undue force, pressure or coercion vide Compromise Deed dated 2nd April, 2018and he has no objection in case the FIR is quashed.
Keeping in mind the settlement arrived at between the petitioner and respondent no.2 voluntarily, in my view, no fruitful purpose would be served in keeping the criminal proceedings
pending.
Accordingly, in the interest of justice, aforesaid FIR and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed. Petition is disposed of in the above terms. Dasti. A.K. PATHAK, J MAY 24, 2018 sm
