% 26.07.2016 The challenge in this writ petition is to an order dated 13th April, 2016 passed by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation. I note that the appointment was also issued by the office of Directorate General of Civil Aviation, which was on ad hoc/contract basis. Since the appointment is under the Directorate General of Civil Aviation, which is a department of Government of India, it is the Central Administrative Tribunal which will have jurisdiction to entertain the present petition.

Accordingly, the petition is dismissed with liberty to the petitioner to approach the Central Administrative Tribunal (CAT). V. KAMESWAR RAO, J JULY 26, 2016 RN
