% 27.08.2018 Respondent no.2 Smt. Sandeep Kaur is present in Court along with her counsel and has been identified by ASI Divender of police station Najafgarh. It is submitted that settlement has been arrived at between petitioners and respondent no.2 before the Mediation Centre, Dwarka Courts, Delhi on 1st April, 2015.

Respondent no.2 was represented before the Mediation Centre through her husband Sh. Rajinder Singh, who has signed the mediation proceedings. Respondent no.2 confirms the fact of settlement arrived at with petitioners. She further says that all the terms of settlement have already been complied with and she has no objection in case FIR No.396/2013 under sections 120-B/448 IPC registered at police station Najafgarh, Delhi and consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.

Keeping in mind the settlement arrived at between the petitioners and respondent no. 2 voluntarily, in my view, no fruitful purpose would be served to keep the criminal proceedings pending. Accordingly, in the interest of justice, aforesaid FIR and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed. Petition is disposed of in the above terms.
