% 08.02.2019 By this petition the petitioner seeks quashing of FIR No. 58/2018 under Sections 313/323/376 IPC registered at PS Vasant Kunj (South), Delhi. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the parties have since settled the matter and do not wish to pursue the above-noted FIR. A perusal of the FIR reveals that though the complainant admits that she was in a live-in relationship but also states that it was on the pretext of marriage between the parties. The allegations under Section 376 IPC being serious in nature, on the ground that subsequently the parties have married FIR in question cannot be quashed.

Petition is dismissed.
