The present Petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. has been filed by the Petitioners seeking quashing of the Complaint dated 08.01.2018 made by Respondent No.2 to the ACP, CAW Cell, Dwarka, South-West, Delhi and consequential FIR No.85/2018, under Section 498A/406/34 IPC, Police Station Dwarka South, Delhi registered against them. The quashing is sought on merits and also because Petitioner No.1 and the Complainant have settled the matter again.

Learned Additional Public Prosecutor for Respondent-State has informed that Charge-Sheet has already been filed in March, 2021 and thereafter, Petitioner No.1- Jasdeep Singh Kohli has been declared Proclaimed Offender on 25.06.2024. The quashing is sought on merits and also because Petitioner No.1 and the Complainant have got settled again.

Since, the Charge-Sheet has been already filed, the present petition is disposed of with liberty to the parties to raise their respective contentions at the time of arguments on Charge. In case either party is aggrieved thereafter, they are at liberty to approach the Court for appropriate relief.
