% 27.02.2019 The petitioner is aggrieved by alleged unauthorized construction in property bearing No.8/88-A Geeta Colony, Delhi as also encroachment on the main road and on the 'drainage' in the area. At the outset, Ms. Kanika Agnihotri who appears for respondent No.2/Delhi Development Authority (DDA) states that on point of fact the land on which the subject property is situate, has not even been handed-over to the DDA and still vests with the Ministry of Rehabilitation, Government of India ; and that accordingly the question of a municipal corporation overseeing the subject property does not arise. After some arguments, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks leave to withdraw the present petition with liberty to approach the Special Task Force, set-up by the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs vidé Office
Memorandums dated 25.04.2018 and 23.05.2018 issued under directions of the Supreme Court in Writ Petition (Civil) No. 4677/1985 titled M.C. Mehta vs. Union of India & Ors.
Accordingly, the petition is dismissed as withdrawn, with liberty as prayed for.
