This petition has been filed under Section 34 of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 seeking to set aside an award dated 23rd March, 2011. The dispute between the parties pertains to a contract agreement dated 4th August 1997 for execution of work for setting up Liquid Waste Water Treatment Plant for the Singrauli Super Thermal Project. 3.
The present application has been filed seeking to withdraw the present petition on the ground that the settlement has been arrived at under the Vivad Se Vishwas Scheme-II.

The settlement agreement dated 26th March, 2024 is placed on record. In terms of the said settlement, the Petitioner has agreed to pay to the Respondent a sum of Rs. 1,19,59,806/-. The Court has perused the terms of settlement. The same are stated to be lawful and there is no impediment in recording the same. Accordingly, the settlement agreement is taken on The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above.
