Crl. M.C. No. 1596/2016 & Crl. M.A. No.6845/2016 (Directions) By this application filed under Section 482 of Cr. P.C., the petitioner seeks to quash the complaint under Section 200 Cr. P.C. filed by the complainant, being Complaint Case No.653/1/2010 under Section 420 of Indian Penal Code.

During the course of hearing, it was revealed that the proceedings under Section 82 of Cr. P.C. have already taken place and the proclamation has been issued on 19th September 2015. Currently, we are in the year 2016.

In the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case, this Court

does not find any justification to exercise its jurisdiction under Section 482 of Cr. P.C. Consequently, the present petition is dismissed being without merit.

However, it is made clear that the aforesaid order shall not preclude the petitioner to take his remedy as available to him under the law.
