By this petition, the petitioner seeks extension of parole on the ground that he has to undergo compulsory one month training. The petitioner was granted parole for a period of three weeks for submission of his assignment and the worksheets. Now the petitioner has to undergo the compulsory training from 15th May, 2018 to 14th June, 2018. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that this is the second year of his Masters in Yoga and after these four weeks of parole, the petitioner will be required to come out only for ten days parole in July to give the examination and he would then complete his Masters in Yoga.

Learned counsel for the petitioner on instructions from the parokar of the petitioner states that the petitioner will not apply for any further extension or any parole in this year except for a period of 10 days at the time of examination.

Considering the fact that the petitioner has availed furlough for three weeks and needs further extension for four weeks to undergo compulsory training, this Court deems it fit to grant parole to the petitioner. Parole is thus granted to the petitioner for a period of four weeks from 19th May, 2018 the date when the petitioner has to surrender after his first spell of furlough granted to him by the DG Prisons on 26th April, 2018 on the same terms and conditions as imposed in the communication dated 26th April, 2018.
