% 10.05.2016 The present is a petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India read with Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 seeking extension of parole on medical grounds.

It is an admitted position that the petitioner has to undergo an operation for extraction of stone from his kidney preparatory to an open heart surgery to be performed on him as a consequence of 100% blockage in his Left Anterior Descending Artery.

It is also an admitted position that all the medical reports qua the petitioner have been verified on behalf of the official respondent. In view of the medical status of the petitioner, as described hereinabove, and after perusal of the relevant record, in my view, it is just necessary and expedient to extend the parole granted to the petitioner by the competent authority for a further period of three months from today subject to the same terms and conditions as imposed by the competent authority by way of its order dated 1st March, 2016.

With the above directions, the writ petition is allowed and disposed of. Copy of this order be sent to Jail Superintendent for necessary

information and compliance as also to be communicated to the petitioner. Dasti.
