The parties have filed the present petition under Section 29A of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 (hereafter 'the Act'), inter alia, praying that the time for making the arbitral award be extended for a further period of one year. The learned counsel appearing for the parties state that the arbitral proceedings are at the stage of recording of claimant's evidence. They further state that the arbitral proceedings have not been concluded despite the Arbitral Tribunal acting with due despatch. 3.

In view of the averments made by the learned counsel for the parties, the application is allowed and the time for making the award is extended for

a further period of one year from 13.06.2018. 4.

The petition is disposed of.
