The petitioners have filed the present petition, inter alia, praying that FIR bearing no. 668/2015 under Sections 420/468/467/471/120B of the IPC registered with PS Ambedkar Nagar and all proceedings arising therefrom, be quashed.

The said FIR was registered at the instance of respondent no.2 (Bishram Meena). The present petition is premised on a settlement arrived at between the parties (petitioner no.1 and respondent no.2) before the Mediation Centre, Saket Courts, New Delhi on 10.10.2017. 3.
Mr Singh, the learned ASC appearing for the State, submits that although it was reported that certain certificates had been forged, investigations have revealed that the same were genuine.

The petitioners are identified by their counsel and respondent no.2 is identified by the Investigating Officer.

Both the parties state that they have no further grievances and/or claims against each-other. They jointly pray that the FIR in question be quashed.

In view of the aforesaid statements made by the concerned parties and considering that their is no material to establish the allegations made in the said FIR, this Court considers that the interest of justice would be served by quashing the said FIR. Accordingly, the present petition is allowed and the FIR bearing no. 668/2015 under Sections 420/468/467/471/120B of the IPC registered with PS Ambedkar Nagar and all proceedings emanating therefrom, are quashed. The pending application is also disposed of. 7.
The petitioners and respondent nos. 2 shall sign this order as an acknowledgement of their statements recorded herein. 8.
