The relief sought for by the petitioners is that their petition filed with 3.

the concerned Tribunal, as far back as on 8.1.2018, has not been taken up for consideration uptil now. Counsel for the petitioners says that urgent reliefs are required and therefore, the concerned Tribunal needs to adjudicate upon the petitioners' action preferred under Section 23 of the Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act, 2007 (in short 'Act'). circumstances, expedition needs to be shown by the concerned Tribunal. 5.

Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of with the direction to the Tribunal to take up the petition filed by the petitioner under Section 23 of the Act for consideration. The Tribunal after hearing the concerned parties, will pass a speaking order in the matter.
