Learned counsel for the respondents states that the present petition has been rendered infructuous in view of the Signal dated 09.5.2018, issued by the respondents granting the benefit of the 2nd ACP to the petitioner with effect from 09.8.1999, in the pay scale of Rs.5500-175-9000 vide office order dated 22.3.2018. A copy of the aforesaid Signal dated 09.5.2018 is handed over in the court with a copy furnished to the learned counsel for the petitioner. The same is taken on record.

Learned counsel for the petitioner states that the other side may also be directed to furnish to him a copy of the office order dated 22.3.2018, referred to in the Signal dated 09.5.2018 so that the petitioner can follow up the matter with the Department. A copy of the order dated 22.3.2018 shall be furnished by the learned counsel for the respondents to the counsel for the petitioner within one week.

The petition is disposed of along with the pending application with directions issued to the respondents to pay the arrears to the petitioner within four months reckoned from the date of issuing the office order dated 22.3.2018.
