% 24.01.2019 The petitioner has sought directions from the State to consider his application for sending him to a semi-open jail and to communicate its decision thereon.

Mr. Lao, the learned Additional Standing Counsel for the State, submits upon instructions that the next meeting of the Selection Committee, in this regard, is to be expected in the next fortnight or so and that the petitioner's application shall be considered therein. In the circumstances, let this petition be treated as his representation by the Selection Committee and a decision thereon shall be communicated to the petitioner within a fortnight thereafter. The petition stands disposed-off in terms of the above. A copy of this order be given dasti to the learned counsel for the parties under signature of the Court Master.
