Learned counsel for the respondents states that the present petition has been rendered infructuous in view of the office order dated 11.6.2018 issued by the respondents granting the benefit of the 2nd MACP to the petitioner with effect from 01.9.2008, in the pay scale of Rs.5200-20200 Grade Pay Rs.2800/- and 3rd MACP to the petitioner with effect from 06.5.2011 in the pay scale of Rs.9300-34800 Grade Pay Rs.4200/-. A copy of the aforesaid order dated 11.6.2018 is handed over in the court with a copy furnished to the learned counsel for the petitioner. The same is taken on record. 2.

Learned counsel for the petitioner states that the other side may also be directed to furnish to him a copy of the office order dated 05.8.2014, referred to in the order dated 11.6.2018 so that the petitioner can follow up the matter with the Department. A copy of the order dated 05.8.2014 shall be furnished by the learned counsel for the respondents to the counsel for the petitioner within one week.

The petition is disposed of along with the pending application with directions issued to the respondents to pay the arrears to the petitioner within eight weeks reckoned from the date of issuing the office order dated 11.6.2018.
