The petitioner has filed the present petition under Article 226 read with Section 482 Cr.P.C. seeking parole for a period of three months. Status report not filed.

I have heard the learned counsel for the parties and have examined the file.

Nominal roll dated 26.04.2018 reveals that the petitioner was convicted under Sections 393/398 IPC and Section 27 Arms Act registered at Police Station Sarai Rohilla. On 21.2.2011 he was sentenced to undergo Rigorous Imprisonment for seven years with fine `3,000/-. Crl.A.No.485/13 was dismissed by this Court on 16.02.2018. It further reflects that the petitioner is in custody for the last about four years, six months and twenty six days besides W.P.(CRL) 1546/2018

remission for ten months and eighteen days as on 26.04.2018. His overall conduct in jail is satisfactory; he is not involved in any other criminal case. The petitioner has not filed any petition for parole or furlough so far.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and to enable the petitioner to participate in the training programme which is compulsory, he is granted four weeks parole from the date of his release, on his furnishing personal bond in the sum of `25,000/- with one surety in the like amount to the satisfaction of the Trial Court. After completion of parole period, the petitioner shall surrender before the Jail Superintendent.
