% 24.05.2018 It is submitted that petitioner and respondent no.2 have settled their disputes amicably in terms of Memorandum of Understanding dated 30th May, 2018, therefore, FIR No. 175/2014 under Sections 452/427/506 IPC registered at police station Preet Vihar may be quashed. Respondent no.2 (complainant) is present in Court and has been identified by SI R S Pandit of police station Preet Vihar. He submits that he has settled the matter with the petitioner of his own free will and without any undue force, pressure or coercion vide Memorandum of Understanding dated 30th May, 2018and he has no objection in case the FIR is quashed.

Keeping in mind the settlement arrived at between the petitioner and respondent no.2 voluntarily, in my view, no fruitful purpose would be served in keeping the criminal proceedings pending. Accordingly, in the

interest of justice, aforesaid FIR and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.

Petition is disposed of in the above terms. Miscellaneous application is disposed of as infructuous. Dasti.
