The petitioner has filed the present petition under Section 29A of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 (hereafter 'the Act'), inter alia, praying that the time for making the award be extended for a further period of six months from 27.05.2018.

The learned counsel appearing for the respondent joins the request made by the learned counsel for the applicant. The learned counsel appearing for the parties state that the arbitral proceedings are at the stage of evidence. They further confirm that the delay in conclusion of the arbitral proceedings is not attributable to the Arbitral Tribunal. 3.

In view of the above, the time for making the arbitral award is extended for a further period of six months i.e. from 27.05.2018 to 26.11.2018.

The petition is disposed of. The pending application is also disposed of.
