% 11.05.2018 Notice. Learned APP accepts notice for respondent no.1. Respondent no.2-Bhawna Kumari is also present in Court along with her counsel, who accepts notice. She has been identified by SI Amit Sharma of police station Karol Bagh.
Respondent no.2 submits that she has already settled the matter with the petitioner of her own free will and without any undue force, pressure or coercion. She further submits that her marriage has already been dissolved by a decree of divorce by mutual consent dated 22nd March, 2018 passed by the Family Court, Central District, Tis Hazari Court, Delhi, inasmuch as, FIR No.744/2014 under Sections 498A/406/34 IPC registered at police
station Khyala has also been quashed by this Court vide today's order, that is, 11th May, 2018 passed in Crl. M.C. 2530/2018. It is further submitted that in view of the compromise, respondent no.2 has no objection in case present FIR No. 338/2014 under Section 324 IPC registered at police station Karol Bagh is also quashed.
Keeping in mind the settlement arrived at between the petitioner and respondent no.2 voluntarily, in my view, no fruitful purpose would be served in keeping the criminal proceedings.
Accordingly, in the interest of justice, present FIR and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.
