O R D E R

% 26.05.2017 Today, learned counsel for respondent No.4, on instructions of respondent No.4 who is personally present in Court, states that the principal sum of Rs.7 crores shall be paid within eighteen months from today. Learned counsel for respondent No.4 has also handed over to learned counsel for petitioner a post-dated cheque bearing No.701273 dated 30th November, 2018 for Rs.7 crores drawn on ICICI Bank Limited, Sunder Nagar, Delhi Branch, New Delhi. Respondent No.4, who is personally present in Court, assures this Court that the aforesaid cheque is good for

payment.

Respondent No.4 undertakes to this Court that in the event the aforesaid cheque is dishonoured and/or not encashed for any reason, he would have no objection if this Court would imprison him under the Contempt of Courts Act.

The statement and undertaking made by respondent No.4 are accepted by this Court and he is held bound by the same. Respondent No.4 is also directed to pay simple interest @ 5% per annum from today till the date of actual payment. It is further directed that till the payment is made, respondent No.4 shall not travel abroad.

In view of the aforesaid directions, present contempt petition stands disposed of.

Let a copy of this order be communicated to FRRO by learned counsel for petitioner.
