CORAM:

HON'BLE MS. JUSTICE MUKTA GUPTA

O R D E R

% 01.08.2016 By the present petition the petitioner seeks anticipatory bail in case FIR No. 51/2016 under Sections 323/354/506/34 IPC registered at PS Harsh Vihar, Delhi on the complaint of Varsha Sharma, his daughter in law. In the FIR the complainant alleged that she was being harassed after her marriage with the petitioner's son and after 10-12 days of the marriage the petitioner started teasing her in presence of her husband and was given beatings. On 6th February, 2016 the petitioner hit on her breast with his hand.

Learned counsel for the petitioner points out that a quarrel ensued on 6th February, 2016 wherein FIR No. 68/2016 under Sections 323/341/34 IPC at PS Harsh Vihar, Delhi has been lodged against the family members of the BAIL APPLN. 874/2016

complainant on the complaint of the petitioner herein. Learned APP for the State on instructions submits that the petitioner has already joined the investigation.

Considering the fact that cross FIRs were registered for the same incident and that the petitioner has already joined the investigation, I deem it fit to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. It is, therefore, directed that in the event of arrest the petitioner be released on bail on his furnishing a personal bond of `25,000/- with one surety of the like amount subject to the satisfaction of the Arresting Officer/SHO concerned, further subject to the condition that the petitioner will join the investigation as and when directed by the Investigating Officer and will not leave the country without prior permission of the learned Trial Court.

Petition is disposed of.

Order dasti.

MUKTA GUPTA, J.
