O R D E R

% 04.05.2016 This is a petition under Article 226 of the Constitution read with Section 482 Cr.PC moved by the petitioner for quashing of FIR No.201/2016 registered at Police Station Bawana, Delhi under Sections 323/509 IPC and consequent proceedings emanating therefrom on the ground that the parties have compromised the matter. Mr Rajesh Mahajan, ASC for State appears on advance notice and submits that the instant FIR was registered only on 16.04.2016 and the offence under Section 323 IPC is compoundable without the permission of the Court whereas offence under Section 506 is compoundable with permission of the court as such it is desirable that the parties should approach the concerned Trial Court and there is no requirement of invocation of extraordinary jurisdiction of this Court under Article 226 of the Constitution. In view of the aforesaid, the petition is dismissed. SUNITA GUPTA, J MAY 04, 2016/rd
