Issue raised in the present writ petition relates to students who take admission to study law in the Faculty of Law, Delhi University and thereafter drop out and do not complete the course. Petitioner has made some suggestions. There can be varied reasons why students do not complete a professional course. We would not like to speculate on reasons and on the basis of perception give directions to check, and impose conditions.
3.
The petitioner had earlier filed a similar petition in the High Court which was withdrawn after some hearing.
4.
Issue raised in the writ petition pertains to and is in the realm of policy and we would not like to issue any specific directions. The prayer clause in the writ petition itself accepts and requires respondents to form and put in place appropriate policy.
5.
With the aforesaid observations the writ petition is not entertained and is disposed of, leaving it to the authorities to examine and consider the issue. No order as to costs.
