O R D E R

% 24.03.2017 Present contempt petition has been filed alleging wilful disobedience of the order dated 24th January, 2017, passed by a Division Bench of this Court in W.P.(C) 11574/2016, whereby the respondents were directed to ensure that refund order containing up to date interest calculation is made within ten days and the amounts are duly remitted to the petitioner's account.

In the present contempt petition it has been averred that despite the aforesaid order, respondent has not refunded Rs. 2,42,72,748/- along with interest in favour of the petitioner till date.

Today in Court, learned counsel for respondent has handed over a photocopy of the refund order dated 21st March, 2017 wherein an amount of Rs. 2,60,15,610/- (which includes interest) is shown as payable to the petitioner. The same is taken on record.

Learned counsel for respondent further states that the amount shall be transferred to the petitioner's bank account within a fortnight. In view thereof, present contempt petition is disposed of as satisfied. MANMOHAN, J MARCH 24, 2017 rn
