Learned APP accepts notice for respondent no.1.

Respondent no.2 is present in Court and has been identified by SI Gopal Singh of police station Mehrauli.

Respondent no.2 submits that she has started living with petitioner no.1 after settling her disputes with him before the Delhi Mediation Centre, Saket Court on 5th December, 2016. She further submits that she has been living with petitioner no.1 for the last two years and she has no grievance against petitioner no.1 and his relatives, that is, petitioner nos. 2 to 4, therefore, she has no objection in case FIR No. 1478/2014 under Sections 498A/406/34 IPC registered at police station Mehrauli and the consequent

proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed against the petitioners. Keeping in mind the settlement arrived at between the petitioner no.1 and respondent no.2 voluntarily, in my view, no fruitful purpose would be served in keeping the criminal proceedings.

Accordingly, in the interest of justice, aforesaid FIR and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.

Petition is disposed of in the above terms.

Miscellaneous application is disposed of as infructuous.
