Present petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India read with Section 482 Cr.P.C. has been preferred by the petitioner to seek parole for three months. Status report not filed. 2.

I have heard the learned counsel for the parties and have examined the file. Nominal roll dated 29.04.2018 reflects that the petitioner was convicted under Section 304-A/308 IPC and was sentenced to undergo Rigorous Imprisonment for ten years with fine `1,25,000/-. Crl.A.No.458/2015 was decided and the sentence of the appellant was reduced to 10 years and other conditions remained unchanged.

It further records that the petitioner has already undergone four years, six months and nineteen days incarceration besides remission for one year, four months and seven days as on W.P.(CRL) 1485/2018

29.04.2018. The petitioner is not a previous convict and is not involved in any other criminal case. His antecedents are clean; his overall conduct in jail is satisfactory. During the custody period, he has not availed any parole or furlough.

In the interest of justice and for the reasons mentioned in the petition, the petitioner is granted three weeks parole from the date of his release, on his furnishing personal bond in the sum of `30,000/- with one surety in the like amount to the satisfaction of the Trial Court. After completion of parole period, the petitioner shall surrender before the Jail Superintendent.
