The petitioner, who is major, states that her marriage to respondent No. 2 was performed by respondent No. 3, her father on 18th February, 2018 contrary to her wishes and she does not wish to live with respondent No.2. She states that after the marriage with respondent No.2 she lived at the matrimonial home for one month however, thereafter she left the matrimonial home and she is now on her own. She seeks protection. 2.

Respondent No.2, husband of the petitioner and respondent No.3 the father of the petitioner are present in Court and have been identified by the investigating officer. Respondent Nos.2 and 3 state that in case the W.P.(CRL) 1473/2018

petitioner does not wish to continue her matrimonial relations with respondent No.2, respondent Nos.2 and 3 have no objection to the same. They further state that in case petitioner seeks divorce by mutual consent, respondent No.2 will cooperate therein.

Petitioner states that henceforth, she would be leading her own independent life and does not want any interference of respondent Nos. 2 and 3 and she will also not interfere in the life of respondent Nos. 2 and 3. 4.

Respondent Nos.2 and 3 also state that they would neither harass nor interfere in the life of the petitioner, who may lead a life as she so desires. 5.

In view of the statements of respondent Nos. 2 and 3 nothing further survives in the present petition. Learned counsel for petitioner seeks leave to withdraw the present petition.

Leave granted.

Petition is dismissed as withdrawn.

Respondent No.3, father of the petitioner further undertakes to hand over all the relevant certificates/documents of the petitioner, that is, her 10th class Certificate, 12th class certificate, graduation mark sheet, degree, Aadhar Card and other relevant belongings to the Investigating Officer, SI Yashbir Kumar, PS Sarojini Nagar on or before 25th May, 2018, whereafter the petitioner can collect the same from the Investigating Officer. 9.
